Online Spoken Word Workshops – Book Now!

On Saturday 16th May (3 – 6pm) we will be running our first online spoken word workshop featuring BBC Radio artist Potent Whisper.

We have run a number of workshops with him in the past which have always been well received. Now during lockdown we have decided to take these online.

What is it?

This free, 3 hour poetry workshop will be facilitated by Potent Whisper online using Zoom. During the session we will,
● Develop our skills in poetry and spoken word
● Explore artistic activism and the power of the storyteller to transform society
● Write new material with Potent Whisper

The workshops are open to CWU members and their families – but we ask that under 18s are accompanied online.

To enrol

Contact learn@cwu.org with your name, branch and contact details. We will send log in details to you prior to the event.

This is one of a series of workshops we will be running throughout the year so if the time and date of this event don’t work for you please contact us to suggest another time for future events.
