2-Day Mental Health First Aid Course

Reps from the South East Region assembled at CWU Headquarters in Wimbledon for a 2-day Mental Health First Aid course, tutored by the excellent Jamie McGovern and Steve Croke. The course was organised by the South East Regional Union Learning Rep, Colin Fanning.

Both Jamie and Steve spoke optimistically about the huge potential for a South East CWU Mental Health Support network going forward.

Colin Fanning added, “As union learning rep I couldn’t be prouder of the incredible effort, dedication and enthusiasm that everyone put into the course over the two days. I found the sessions to be insightful, valuable and dare I say given the subject matter, even enjoyable.”
