Another Successful Equality, Diversity & Inclusion course

Swindon Mail Centre was recently the venue for a successful Equality, Diversity and Inclusion course. This course is mandatory for all role holders within the CWU and covers subjects including,

• Differences & Similarities
• Stereotyping & Prejudice
• Protected Characteristics & the Law
• Why Equality is a Trade Union Issue
• What if we do nothing?

The course was attended by reps from South West No7, Gloucestershire Amal and London Parcels & Stations Amal.

Course tutor Ian Trehearne was very pleased with the course, “18 students successfully completed the course. It was a very diverse class which lead to great debates all day.”
