I Choose Freedom: Big Give Christmas Challenge

I Choose Freedom are a charity supporting survivors of domestic abuse, who have worked with the CWU and recently gave a very informative and inspiring talk at our National ULR Networking Event.
They are organising a Big Give Christmas Challenge to raise funds to support welcome packs for survivors arriving in refuge, helping them settle, feel cared for and safe.
Obviously, donations are always welcome but between 2nd and 9th December, any donations made via the Big Give platform will be doubled.
They have also set up some Christmas Wishlists on Amazon, allowing supporters to buy a present directly for a survivor spending Christmas within refuge, making the festive season a little bit brighter.
All gifts bought from the wishlist are able to be sent directly to I Choose Freedom by selecting the ‘Zoe’ address.
We know Christmas can be a difficult time for everyone but, for those who are able to support either of these initiatives, they would make such a difference to those seeking to escape domestic violence.
