Learning At Work Week – Day 7: WEA

Today we are looking at the  Workers’ Educational Association, who have been providing education for working people for 120 years.

They offer a range of online and locally based courses covering subjects as diverse as English, maths, IT, skills for work, health & wellbeing, arts & crafts, languages, history, science and much more.

Just enter your postcode in the side bar and type the subject you are looking for in the search box. You might be asked to take an assessment to determine the right course for you. Some of the courses are free, while others charge fees. Support options are available for those on limited incomes.

The CWU has a network of Union Learning Reps available to support you on your learning journey. Contact your branch for more details. If your branch doesn’t have one, why not consider applying to be one yourself?
