As LGBT+ History Month comes to a close, the CWU, along with other trade unions, reaffirms our long-standing commitment to equality, dignity and respect for all. Just as unions stood alongside LGBT+ activists in challenging Section 28 and other discriminatory laws, we continue that work today by challenging prejudice, supporting our LGBT+ members, and strengthening inclusion across every workplace.

We’re ending the month by sharing an indicative LGBT+ reading list and reminding members that our education resources remain available all year round. Equality work doesn’t stop in February, this is a commitment we carry forward every day.
