NCDV Domestic Abuse Champion training
June 4 2025On Tuesday 3rd 0f June Eastern No 5 Branch held NCDV Domestic Abuse Champion reps training. The training was held as part of the branches bi-monthly strategic involvement meeting, during which reps training and development has been given a regular slot on the agenda.
The two-hour online training was hosted by Charlotte Woodward and was interactive with lots of time to ask questions. This training is part of the branches commitment to raise awareness of the impacts of domestic abuse in the workplace.

- Behaviour Typologies and dynamics
- Prevalence and statistics
- Impact on employee, colleagues and business
- Signposting
- Confidentiality
- Policy & Practice
The feedback after the training was very good and all attendees get the NCDV Training Handbook, a copy of the training slides and an evaluation form by email. Once you have returned the evaluation form you will receive a certificate of completion. You will also receive access to additional free online sessions that includes NCDV 1hr free training on civil protection orders and Forced Marriage Unit brief online training.
