New Creative Courses

Audacity: Audio Recording & Editing

Audacity is a free and easy-to-use, multi-track audio recorder and editor. You can use it to digitise and tidy up your existing music collection, record audio tracks and podcasts or use it as a multi-track studio.

Digital Music with LMMS

Digital Audio Workstations (DAW) allow you to compose, produce, record, mix and edit music straight from you PC or laptop. LMMS is “Open Source” DAW that is completely free to download.

Lightworks Video Editor

For a professional quality video editor Lightworks is remarkably easy to use. It has been used on many of cinema’s biggest movies, including LA Confidential, Pulp Fiction and The King’s Speech.

Photo GIMP

GIMP is a free photo editing program for tasks such as photo retouching, image composition and image authoring. GIMP is an acronym for GNU Image Manipulation Program.

Scribus Desk Top Publishing

Desktop publishing software allows us to self-publish magazines and books. Scribus is a free, professional desktop publishing software similar to more expensive programmes.
