New Postal Agreements & Procedures Courses Delivered

Eastern No5 Branch is one of the branches delivering a series of the new postal agreements and procedures courses. The course has been designed to be flexible and can be delivered as one 5-day course or five 1-day courses. The content has been updated and covers:

• Procedures & Policies
• Royal Mail Industrial Relations Framework
• Royal Mail Conduct Code Agreement
• NEW Royal Mail Sick Pay
• NEW (unagreed) Royal Mail Attendance Procedure
• Other Royal Mail Agreements

Eastern No5 organised the one-day workshops on 5 Tuesdays over April and May with gaps to allow for Bank Holidays during those months. They also organised a one-week course (5 days) at the end of May. This makes it easier for Reps to do which ever format best suits them and fits in with personal lives and helps with release issues. Even though some agreements are unagreed, the branch made the decision to upskill reps now and update reps on any changes that can be agreed during the ongoing national talks with the business.

They have organised five more of the 1-day workshops to allow any reps and give those unable to attend the other courses a chance to attend and upskill as reps.
