Protect Adult Education From Government Cuts

The government has recently announced that it is planning to cut adult education by up to 6% in the upcoming Spending Review. Depending on where you live in England, adult education budgets will be cut between 2% to 6%. While a lot is still unclear at the moment, the cut equates to 100,000 lost learning places across the entire sector. We do not know what topics are likely to be hit hardest, but we believe that community learning and creative courses could be at risk.

The Workers’ Educational Association is calling for our support to protect adult education. We can all do this in a number of ways,
