Show Racism The Red Card Film Launch

The department attended a packed Show Racism the Red Card filmĀ launch event at the NEU headquarters in central London to watch their latest campaign video highlighting why we all need to challenge racism. Footballs stars past and present were all clear in their message that if we see racism we should report it – and if someone is the victim of racism they should come forward and speak to someone they can trust.

The evening also saw the CEO of the education charity Ged Grebby receive a lifetime achievement award from the Black Footballers List for his work as an anti-racist. The CWU congratulates Ged on this well deserved award.
