Talking Tourette’s Syndrome
November 20 2025Another great online session has been set up for CWU members and reps, this time on the issue of Tourette’s, which has been brought into the limelight on the back of the recent film release ‘I Swear’ based on the true story of John Davidson, who was diagnosed with Tourette’s syndrome, and features his life before and after the 1989 television documentary John’s Not Mad, at a time when his condition was barely identifiable.
The session features NEC Disability Lead, Mark Anthony Bastiani and Tourette Scotland’s Sarah McClory and will be chaired by Joyce Stevenson.
To register please email equality&education@cwu.org
If you have any questions for Sarah or Mark please send them into the department.
