Sexual Harassment Awareness – One Day Workshop

The CWU sexual harassment awareness one day workshop is designed to inform CWU representatives about the nature of sexual harassment, its legal implications, why it’s unreported and the impact it can have on individuals and the workplace.

The training typically covers:

  • Defining and understanding what constitutes sexual harassment: Recognising various forms of harassment and distinguishing between acceptable and unacceptable behaviour.
  • Awareness of the impacts and consequences: Learning about the emotional, psychological, and professional effects of harassment on victims and the workplace.
  • Reporting mechanisms: Understanding why sexual harassment is underreported and gaining knowledge on how to report incidents of sexual harassment appropriately and understanding the processes involved in handling complaints.
